Useful Club Info
Saltash & District Camera Club is run by a team of elected, volunteer, committee members. A lot of time and effort goes into running the club and we rely do rely upon members to fill these roles for the continuation of the club when members. These roles are reviewed annually and anyone interested in the roles and what is required of each committee member should please click HERE.
Each year we run a varied programme including in house and inter club competitions. There are a number of competitions to enter.
Below are the rules and regs we need to follow for entering images.
PRINTED IMAGES: ALL IMAGES SUBMITTED MUST BE IN 400x500mm MOUNTS.
Your printed images need to fit within the constrains of that mount but the prints can be of any size and within that eg: A4, A3, Square, Letterbox etc
DIGITAL IMAGES:
Digital Projected Images must be .jpg files set at maximum quality, with a maximum size of 1600px wide and 1200 px high. This does not prevent you from having your digital images presented in ‘letterbox format' or in a ‘square format'.
What this means: if your image is 1600 by more than 1200 high, you have to re-size the height to 1200 and let the program decide the width. A portrait-oriented image should be no more than 1200 high. A square image should be no more than 1200 x 1200.

PLEASE NOTE THAT MOUNTS FOR ALL COMPETITIONS ARE TO BE 500 X 400mm.
Club Merits
Competitors will not mark their own entries (don't put your name on them). The Committee, in advance of the publication of the programme, will decide the subject matter.
