Monday 4th October saw our return to the internal club merits competition. The subject for this year's first merits was "Transport." It was great to see some more members returning to club in person and while we didn't have as many entries as pre-covid it was so good to see the stands out and prints being submitted just like the 'old days'. We are beginning to see attendance rise each week and this is reassuring. We are all getting used to doing our Lateral Flow Tests before club and it really does help the over all feeing of being safe among our friends. There were a number of different entires with some imagination used to interpret transport in different ways. Members voted for their favourite images in the colour, mono, DPI and 'open' sections of the competition and the results are as follows: Colour: 1st: Louise Richey 2nd: Dan Foote 3rd: Steve Evans Mono: 1st: Steve Evans 2nd: Adrian Petts 3rd: Dan Foote, Keith Morris, Louise Richey DPI (Digital Projected Image): 1st: Louise Richey 2nd: Mike Nancekivell 3rd: Steve Evans Open: 1st: Kay Wilson 2nd: Sue Etheridge 3rd: Louise Richey
