Plymouth Camera Club last night hosted the annual Tamar Trophy competition for mono prints contested between Plymouth, Plymstock, Ivybridge and ourselves
where Petro Landers of Milton Combe was the judge.
The hosts ensured we were as covid safe as possible by increasing the size of the room, spacing the seating with larger gaps and ensuring there was plenty of ventilation,
so it was a shame that a few more from our club did not make the effort to attend.
After giving his good points and recommended improvements to each entry as judges do, marks were awarded from 11 to 20 for each.
After all the judging was complete, the marks were totaled and we came a creditable 3rd which seems to be traditional.
Plymouth 172, Plymstock 153, Saltash 147 and Ivybridge 143.
Dan's 'Modern Man' and Mike's 'Trials Car' were our top scorers with 18 each, while Plymouth had 2 with a maximum score of 20 together with 2 at 19, while Plymstock had 1 with the top score and 1 with 19.
